Trofeo Selection represents the top brand of La Vigilia and is the beating heart of the Salaro family collections. It brings together numerous wines with a denomination of origin, from the high vocated wine-growing are of Valpolicella, offering a range of wines at an excellent value for money, although representative of wines of the highest quality. These factors have favored its positioning within the most important Italian wine consumption markets in the world. Inspired by the etymology concept of the term itself, Trofeo is our way to celebrate our marvellous land of production, to which we have dedicated our essence for almost 50 years. And the essence of our being, for us at La Vigilia, can only be represented by our wine, a "celebration" of our efforts in every moment of our life dedicated to winemaking, as per the original meaning of the term Trophy in ancient Latin. The La Vigilia Trofeo wine family is made up of wines with a strong personality, all with Controlled, Controlled and Guaranteed Designation of Origin and Typical Geographical Indication. The flagship of the collection are the wines of the Selection, each with its own personality and unique characteristics. Among these: Amarone della Valpolicella Classico D.O.C.G. ORGANOLEPTIC QUALITIES
Colour: Intense ruby red, with garnet reflections.
Bouquet: Warm and soft bouquet exalting the sense with its taste of costant evolution. Full bodied, with perfume of red cherry, cherry jam, red berries.
Taste: Slightly bitter with a soft reminiscence of almonds, mature plums, violets, combined with the fascinating hint of raisin and raspberries.

Recommended for special occasion, match perfect the taste of braised meats, strong red grilled meats and mature cheese.

ORGANOLEPTIC QUALITIES
Colour: Clear ruby red of bright consistency.
Bouquet The sensation at the nose is intense and persistent. At the beginning is relevant the of flavor of redfruits, in particular cherries, typical of Corvina grapes and vanilla, with chocolate hints at the end.
Taste: Full-bodied, velvet-smooth and it remains for a long time in mouth. The aftertaste confirms what we encountered on the nose letting the subtle tannins create an elegant finish.
